Morocco’s Minister of Agriculture, Mohamed Sadiki, and the General Manager of Huawei Morocco, David Li, signed a cooperation agreement on Tuesday in El Jadida, focusing on the development of technologies as applied to agriculture.
The signing took place during the 15th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show. The partnership will introduce connected platforms and deploy agricultural e-services in pilot sites, strengthen the skills of farmers and professionals, and encourage youth entrepreneurship.
The Digital Agriculture Hub, under the Ministry’s mandate, will implement the agreement as part of the Green Generation strategy roadmap.
The Royal Society for the Promotion of the Horse (SOREC) and the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art Foundation (Spain) also signed an agreement to promote equestrian art as a key element of Andalusian and Moroccan identity and foster a mutually beneficial collaboration centered on the promotion and protection of equestrian heritage.
The agreement also includes the creation of bridges between institutions, training activities, and the sharing of equestrian expertise. Both parties are committed to strengthening professional and academic ties while contributing to the cultural and social enrichment of their respective regions.
