Upon royal orders, Morocco’s Interior Minister, Abdelouafi Laftit contacted his Spanish counterpart, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, today after devastating floods inundated several regions in Spain.
Laftit said Morocco is ready to send relief teams and provide necessary aid to support Spain’s response to the disaster that has left at least 62 dead and caused significant material damage.
The minister offered the kingdom’s condolences to Spanish authorities and the families of the victims.
