Minister Delegate in Charge of National Defense Administration, Abdellatif Loudiyi, received General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, Chief of Staff of Saudi Arabia’s Armed Forces in Rabat on Tuesday as part of Al-Ruwaili’s participation in the Marrakech Air Show 2024.
The discussion covered both nations’ growing military cooperation and their close historical ties, reflecting the leadership of King Mohammed VI and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
During the meeting, both officials acknowledged the strong defense collaboration between the two Kingdoms, underscoring the significance of joint activities and frequent exchanges between their defense officials.
The partnership, which has become increasingly strategic, reflects mutual trust and shared objectives under the leadership of both nations.
The Saudi military official expressed his appreciation for Morocco’s impressive economic and social progress, noting that the country stands as a dynamic force and a bastion of stability in the Euro-Mediterranean and African regions.
The visit was an opportunity for General Al-Ruwaili to reinforce the priority Saudi Arabia places on its alliance with Morocco. His recognized the advancements Morocco has achieved, in particular with respect to the nation’s development and its role in regional stability.
Both officials shared a commitment to furthering their defense and security collaboration, aiming to deepen the ties that have consistently strengthened the relationship between Morocco and Saudi Arabia.
