Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and Saint Lucia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alva Romanus Baptiste, reviewed methods to strengthen bilateral cooperation during Baptiste’s visit to Rabat on Friday.
Baptiste and Bourita signed a cooperation roadmap covering 2025 to 2027, focusing on training academics and professionals in agriculture and climate change.
They discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, food security, and other areas of mutual interest and reiterated the significant investment opportunities available in both countries.
The ministers reiterated their commitment to fostering a dynamic economic partnership through trade and mutual investments.
Baptiste reaffirmed Saint Lucia’s recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara.
